IBM Home Assistant

There's nothing new about conversational IoT devices; however, for IBM the evangelization of one akin to the Amazon Alexa or the Google Home is. This project serves as a proof-of-technology (PoT) that IBM's Natural Language Processing technology - that is Watson - is strong and can converse with its human counterpart. 

 

This IBM Home Assistant is on a low-cost pay-as-you-use business model with a FREE lite option - powered via Raspberry Pi 4, Node-RED, JSON, JavaScript, Python, Watson, and REST APIs.  Currently, development supports COVID-19 related news. All unsupported conversations will result in a HAL 9000 easter egg!
